We are currently seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our product, Lucy, and to help develop our Product Management process.

 What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage product backlog initiatives, epics, user stories, and cross-product dependencies
  • Take a customer-centric approach to understand needs and pain points to generate future product priorities; evaluating new and existing feature requests based on several factors
  • Work cross-functionally to create product's strategic direction and roadmap, define and manage the execution of product releases, and communicate the product strategy/vision
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with the appropriate guidance and direction with regards to roadmap priority
  • Own and coordinate testing of new features throughout and prior to the release go live with internal stakeholders
  • Identify and leverage clients to assist with developing and trialing new functionality and solutions
  • Work with the Customer Success and Marketing Teams to plan and provide required material for upcoming communications on new/updated features both internally and externally

Who You Are (Required Skills)

  • 5+ years’ experience in software product management in the SaaS technology industry
  • Proven ability to successfully manage product backlog in a fast-paced, product-centric environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working with Agile tools (JIRA is mandatory; no exceptions)
  • Demonstrated organization and leadership abilities, including experience influencing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create and define processes and feature designs that support customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills. Being able to communicate efficiently both strategic vision and specific details to various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to speak on a technical level and communicate clearly with developers. Being able to write clear and concise product requirements, status updates and product results

Who You Are (Nice to Haves)

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • An understanding of user research and human-centered design is an advantage, including good UX and design skills
  • Creative and innovative thinking; proven ability to analyze data, problem solve, and scope technology requirements
  • Experience building complex applications that present the user with a simple, intuitive, efficient user experience
  • Experience with complex technical integrations (APIs, web applications, etc.); ability to read JSON and basic API documentation
  • Successful experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic (read: sometimes chaotic) environment. Previous experience growing a product at a startup highly preferred
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Formal Product Owner training, such as CSPO, nice-to-have
  • Flexibility to take on a wide range of tasks to fill in any gaps that exist to make a product successful
